The article remarks on the rise of women candidates and why. Some seem to think that because of Sarah Palin ran for a Vice President back in 2008. Palin also appeals to a certain group for women -- pro-life, evangelicals, mothers and fiscal conservatives -- who have wanted to be a part of the system for a long time says republic strategist Leslie Sanchez.
I agree that Sarah Palin has in a way been a trail blazer for woman in politics. Although i do not agree with her policies nor the GOP in general. She has made it possible for woman on both sides of the political spectrum to say "hey if she can do it i can do it " or maybe " i want to be the next Sarah Palin". So is Sarah Palin just a dim witted politician or a Trail Blazer for woman's involvement in politics? How about both?
